Metallica's Sad But True....
the very last song played by Rock 103.5 on November 2nd 1998. It ground to a screeching halt as the song ended bringing an age to an end. An age we all knew peace. I have spent more time listening to music on this station since it's beginning  than any other by far.

I am feel as if I'm going through withdrawls without it. The music is what made life bearable for many of us. It was a way to hear the new  stuff on the cutting edge.  A place to hear the Hard  Metal and Alternative  music not played other  places.

It is sad and very true. Will anyone step up to the plate and take their place on the leading edge to the alternative and metal music scene in Chicago??

It's not the Loop with their rehashed "classics". Q101 is better than nothing but they continue to offer the usual smathering of classic rock mixed with "tame" alternative. And I'm sorry, the zookeeper Mancow isn't all that.

Seems like we are a City living in the past, full of Oldies stations, Classic Rock, and stations  that "Make you feel good". Where do they get this crap??
