Music Therapist, Musician, Writer, and Artist
Born in Michigan, transplanted in Cedar Lake Indiana in 2007, Jory started his musical training at the age of five, with a Mickey Mouse ukelele and three chords from his father. Thus started his lifelong love of music. Early on, he took an interest in performing, composing, and recording. At the age of seven, he obtained his first real acoustic guitar, bought some music books, and started teaching himself the guitar...a process that continues on to this day, over 50 years later. He also dabbles with the musical keyboard, and records in his home studio.
He has an interest in art as well, and loves to draw portraits in charcoal and colored pencil. Working from photographs, he strives to capture the image and personality of the person he is drawing.

From time to time, Jory will display examples of his work here, along with blogs and updates. To the left is a portrait of his wife Karen, drawn by Jory in charcoal in 2007.
And below, is his composition/recording of "The Ghost of Minnie Quay". Video editing by his wife Karen.
